Pharmaceutical sciences belong to the natural sciences, but they differ from pure basic science in their applications. Chemical, biological and physical researches are included all, and they should be systematically applied to the life and health issues in pharmaceutical sciences. We will contribute to the health and welfare of humanity using knowledge and skills gained through research of pharmaceutical sciences.

Mission

Department of Pharmacy

We educate student pharmacists who will contribute to education and research in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical regulations, and new drug development from viewpoints of the pharmacist. We cultivate pharmacists who have professional skills and reseach-mind, and also understand leadership and responsibility in team medical care.

We educate future scientists who can play global roles at the front end of pharmaceutical research in pharmaceutical companies, in pharmaceutical regulations, and in academia.
